1. The service
Poke.Watch ("we", "us") is a paid email alert service that monitors pokemoncenter.com for an active virtual queue or waiting room and notifies subscribers by email when one appears. We are an independent project and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pokémon Center, Nintendo, Game Freak, Niantic, or The Pokémon Company.
2. Subscriptions & billing
Poke.Watch is a recurring subscription billed at 99p (GBP) per month through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically — there is no fixed term or minimum commitment.
You can view your billing history, update your card, or cancel at any time via the secure Stripe billing portal, linked from every alert and welcome email we send. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again afterwards.
3. Refunds
Because Poke.Watch is a digital service that begins monitoring immediately on subscription, we generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, or the service did not work as described, contact us at support@poke.watch within 14 days of the charge and we will review it on a case-by-case basis. This does not affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
4. No guarantee of detection or delivery
We do our best to detect queue and waiting-room activity on pokemoncenter.com quickly and accurately, and to deliver alert emails promptly. However, we cannot guarantee that every queue event will be detected, that detection will be instantaneous, or that emails will arrive without delay — third-party site changes, network issues, proxy availability, and email deliverability are all outside our control. Poke.Watch is provided as a convenience tool and should not be relied upon as your sole means of finding out about queue activity.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to provide an accurate email address and not to use Poke.Watch for any unlawful purpose, to abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt our systems, or to resell or redistribute alerts without our permission.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poke.Watch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss arising from missed queue windows, missed restocks, failed purchases, or any indirect or consequential loss connected with your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service or for legal reasons. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use Poke.Watch after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
